What is the big deal?
The big deal is that wheatgrass is the baby grass of wheat. when it’s at its youngest usually one week, it contains the most chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is important as it is considered to be the blood of the plant which assimilates with our blood perfectly. In addition, our blood stream needs to be disinfected, if you will, and chlorophyll does just that. Once our blood is disinfected, our bodies become more alkaline which aids in being healthier. When our body is in an alkaline state and our blood stream/system is cleaner, this may help to promote healthier blood, improve circulation, cleanse organs and our gastrointestinal tract, freshen our breath, neutralize body odors, might prevent gum disease, ulcers, and more. Studies have shown that chlorophyll might assist with the fighting of cancer as it may shield the body against the effects of carcinogens similar to that in barbecued or smoked meats.
